Born in A Coruña, she started her Violin and Singing studies at very young age, earning a Bachelor's Degree in both disciplines at the Alicante Higher Conservatory, winning the Extraordinary End of Studies Prize.

Originally, she developed her professional career by simultaneously focusing on this two disciplines. So, as a violinist, she was a member and founder of Alicante Symphony Orchestra and Sofia String Quartet. As a soprano, she has participated in several chamber music seasons and staged productions, like Voces del 2000 (Alicante), Viva la Opera Lyric Festival (Fontilles) or Festival Musical Las Veladas de la Ermita (Alicante); moreover, she has been a member of vocal ensembles like Beijing International Festival Choir (China) and the vocal chamber group Enarmonía, and she has been the soprano solo of the Orfeón del Ateneo de Alicante. In parallel, she explores the root sounds by working with ensembles like NoteSoltes, specialized in Mediterranean musics and dances, as well as the Celtic folk group Norte.

 

In 2005, while living in Madrid to study recorder and early harp, she decided to focus her professional career in a different direction, becoming the singer and recorder player of the medieval music group Puy de Sons d’Autrefois, working along with Paloma Gutiérrez del Arroyo, Bill Cooley, Sara Mancuso and David Alegre.

 

Later, she moved to China to expand her artistic horizons and there, she studied guzheng for several years at the China Conservatory of Music - 中国音乐学院 in Beijing, getting the “Arts Grade Examination of China” Certificate. Once back in Spain, she settled in Granada, and then she decided to combine her two facets, early music and Chinese music, by founding, along with the sinologist and erhu player Rubén García Benito, two groups specializing in the study and dissemination of Chinese music and culture: Seda & Bambú (devoted to classical and traditional music) and Todos los Tonos y Ayres (which specifically focus on Chinese early music). Both ensembles perform concerts and give lectures throughout the Spanish geography, being invited by several series, festivals and organizations, such as the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia, Instituto de Astronomía de Andalucía–CSIC, Confucius Institute of Granada, Madrid and Barcelona, Granada Early Music Festival (MAG) or Festival Cultural Asia-Sevilla. Besides, they organized several great projects in collaboration with other groups in order to explore the paths for dialogue and meeting between European and Chinese early music.

Regarding her career in the field of European early music, she has worked with the medieval group Veterum Mvsicae, conducted by Aziz Samsaoui, until its dissolution in 2019. Currently, she is a member of Íliber Ensemble, conducted by Darío Tamayo, and the female vocal group DeMusica Ensemble, conducted by the musicologist M.ª Ángeles Zapata.
